Titalia looks to the future: towards the Stainless Steel World 2013 investments in facilities and research
We have reached just over the half way mark of this year, and the "turning point" is always a good time to assess what has been done and how much more there is to do: it is time, therefore, for reflection, to rest a little and start planning the work that lies ahead in the weeks and months to come.
The last six months have seen Titalia constantly working toward growth despite the current uncertainties: we have doubled the size of our Brugherio headquarters and we are finalizing the purchase of a new machine for water jet titanium cutting, in addition to the one already in use.
These investments are not the only ones scheduled, on the immediate agenda: shortly we will be equipped with a rolling mill that will increase the efficiency of the service for making titanium rings.
Being well aware that the role as world leading achievers is not a license, but a recognition to be earned on a daily basis, we will continue with our commitment to research: the ORIGAMI project, developed in collaboration with the Politecnico in Milano, in the Region of Lombardy and the MIUR (Ministry of Education, and Research University), continues at a fast pace and promises to further improve the reliability of processing titanium sheets by laser, to levels that would otherwise be difficult to imagine.
This year we will be present at the Stainless Steel World 2013 Edition scheduled from 12 to 14 November in Maastricht (Netherlands). Visit us: it will be an important opportunity to be able to meet and compare the most innovative solutions for machining titanium. We will be at stand S731.
In view of the summer holidays, we will be closed from August 12 to the 16th (however, in case of special requirements, the moulds are available on request): just a few days to slow down and catch our breath in view of the sprint that lies ahead of us to get to the end of 2013 more internationalized and intense.
